charmed-cherry21 answered Monday January 24 2005, 6:43 pm: Sorry but you have to be 14 and older to work. Here are some of the regulations so you'll know when you turn 14. MINORS 14 AND 15 *May not work more than 3 hours a day when school is scheduled the following day. If school is not scheduled the following day the minor may work up to 8 hours per day which includes holidays and summer vacation. **May not work more than 15 hours per week when school is in session. During holidays and summer vacation the minor may work up to 40 hours per week. ***May not work before 7 am or after 7 pm during the school year but may work until 9 pm during summer vacation ((federal law)). I hope that this has helped somewhat and I am sorry but the only job really that 13-year-olds can do is babysit. In a few months I will turn 14 and I will apply for a job. Good luck.
Thewayitwas answered Monday January 24 2005, 6:35 pm: You can always try and get ahold of your local newspaper and be a paper delivery girl/boy. You get a couple good bucks for it...or you can maybe ask a familys friend or relative to work under the counter a couple days a week...then theres babysitting and maybe tutoring at your school... Karen answered Monday January 24 2005, 6:32 pm: Actually, there aren't any places where you could work at the age of 13 except babysitting. You have to be 16 years old to work at most places. At other places, you can start working at the age of 14. Hope I helped :)
