Styes How do you get rid of styes in your eye? I have one in each eye right now and they hurt so bad and it hurts to blink. You can't see them but they hurt like heck. How do you get rid of them and what are they? How do they form and what are some ways to prevent them?? Thanks.

make a hard boiled egg and dont let it cool down..wrap it in like a kitchen towel and put it in your eye..which should make the swelling go down...then like take baby shampoo and scrub at ur eye with hot water ]
There are many small glands (and the ducts of these glands) in your eyelid. They can become infected or simply clogged and swell , causing pain and discomfort. Sometimes you may see and feel the small nodule. Styes more commonly occur in the upper lid near the lid margin and eyelashes, but can be found in the lower lid as well.
More often than not, they are caused by a staphylococcus bacteria infection in an eyelash follicle or in the associated glands of Zeiss and Moll . Staph is a very common bacteria often present on your skin. Sometimes they over-reproduce causing inflammation.
This is quite similar to a pimple in your skin and the treatment is likewise similar: warm compresses three or more times each day until completely resolved. Most often improvement can be observed within a day or two and complete healing occurs within a week. A stye that rapidly enlarges or opens and drains puss into the eye requires medical attention. Styes may be treated with antibiotic drops and ointments along with warm compresses. This sometimes shortens the recovery time and is recommended for people with on-going chronic recurrence of the condition, those with staph blepheritis (a chronic eye lid infection) and immuno-compromised individuals. Swelling involving more of the lid (not localized like a pimple) that is accompanied by fever requires prompt medical attention.
*right from a website*,just do some research thats what i did when i had one ]
I've had those before and I just went to the eye doctor and got some eyedrops that make them go away really fast. The only way to prevent them is to not wear any eye makeup, though. Hope I helped!

I used to get those like once a year, but I havent had those for a while now. They usually heal in a couple of days, and I had to use medical eyedrops and put cream on the area. I heard you can get it by rubbing your nose and then your eye, cuz the bacteria forms in your nose, so rubbing your nose and then your eye causes the bacteria to infect your eye. you can try healing it by applying hot compresses for 10 to 15 minutes, 3 or 4 times a day over the course of a couple of days. ]
put a hot towel on them. that helps them heal up-trix ]
Go to the doctors and get medicine, and then to prevent them, don't share makeup and try differnt brands of makeup, it might be an allergic reaction Hope I helped *KAITLYN* ]
