I just dyed my hair medium brown and I really like it. How do I keep the color from fading? Are there any special shampoos or techniques I should follow?
kandiekisses531 answered Sunday January 16 2005, 10:38 pm: use pantene pro-v for color treated hair or anything that is specific for hair that is colored, then after washing your hair you can use a hair serium for colored hair to keep it from drying out and from fading down [ kandiekisses531's advice column | Ask kandiekisses531 A Question ]
lyDia_LoU answered Sunday January 16 2005, 10:35 pm: Basically, you can buy any shampoo but look at the labels. Some say not good for colored treated hair, i use Dove- Lightweight Intense Shampoo & Conditioner and it says it's good with color treated hair. Basically just read the backs of the shampoos that you already trust. [ lyDia_LoU's advice column | Ask lyDia_LoU A Question ]

I used that. or maybe pantene pro-V for purmed or color treated hair- now on pantene- it may be both combined into one, or they may each have their own- and if that's the case then get the one for color treated. oh! and they may spell it "colour" or something like that with a "U"
:)
Hope I Helped-If You have any more questions on anything I'll try to help as much as I can!
Karen answered Sunday January 16 2005, 9:52 am: Hey, I dyed my hair too and my hair kit came with this conditioner to use once a week and it helps your color not fade. I also use Vive from Loreal; it's for color treated hair and it helps really well! Try to wash your hair every other day because then your hair color will stay longer. Hope I helped :)
