My friend talks about me behind my back
I overheard one of my friends telling a boy how I had criend over what she oviously thought was nothing and laughing over it. Sometimes she runs away from some of her other friends (who are also my friends) and me with her bitchy friend, then pretends it was nothing and that Im over reacting. Then she is really friendly again.She has done this so many times now I secretly don't like her at all. However, she is really popular and I think if I stopped being her friend all my friends would still be with her as she has this way of making people side with her. I don't know what to do about it..(Sorry about the length).

I know how you feel. Lots of people talk about me behind my back. You may think popularity is everything but really it's not. As long as you have a few CLOSE friends then thats good. And a boyfriend is good too, but you don't HAVE to have one. Good Luck. Oh and tell her to shove a sock in it and stop talking bad about you.

i kinda know waht your going thru, happened to me b4, well actually like 2 weeks ago i was JUST with my friends that day and that night when i went home they hung out with this girl whos a total bitch and then all of a sudden my 2 friends HATE me so much. i dont get some girls, they always do it, its a normal thing to go thru, you start to realize who your true friends are, i think if you stopped being friends with her you woulnd't have to deal with her crap about talking about you and doing what shes doing, the better thing to do is not to be friends with her anymore, because if ur still friends with her, the fights/? will happen over and over, they wont stop until you stop it. x0 Renee

You should talk to your friends about it and what she is doing. But you should not tell her that you hate her or that you can't stand her and call her names. You should simply tell her how you feel and that you think you guys need to stay apart for a while and not talk to each other.

That's happened to me before too. I'm not going to use any names but there was this girl me and a lot of ymy friends hated and one of our friends still liked her. Anyway you should stop being her friend. But before you do explain to your other friends why you're doing this and that you still want to be friends with them just not her. If they don't like you even though you said that they're not real friends. Find some who don't care who you're friends with as long as you're a good friend. The lengh is fine, I've written way longer. Anyways, if they're really your freinds they'll stick by you! But, they may really be her freinds too, or maybe they're scared that if they take sides with you, then they won't be popular. Try looking for new freinds while, at the same time staying her freind. You should tell her exactly how you feel, and if she says that you're overreacting, tell her, "Maybe so, but this is how I feel." It will show her that you're serious, an that's how you feel. Or, maybe you could vent to one of your closer freinds about how you feel. I've always found that keeping a journal helps me sort my feelings out and gives me ideas about what to do. Or, when you feel down just grab a peice of scrap paper and write how you feel on that. The thing is, If you find new freinds,m that you can be yourself around and who treat you right, even if your not labeled 'popular' by others, you'll feel popular just having good people around you and it won't bother you anymore.
