if you want to do just print work (like modeling in magazines) then you have to have a pretty face, nice hair, nice smile & good skin and very photogenic! print work dosent require you to be a certain height or weight or anything
then theres runway modeling for this you have to be skiny tall and gorgeous. i went to an agency before and they normally look for girls that are between 5'8-5'11 .. but when your on the runway they put like 4 inch shoes on you anyways lol so u hafta know how to walk in them!
caliexoxo13 answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 5:38 pm: Like the others said you have to be photogenic. Also you have to be graceful and poised. You can't be like clumsy and mess around. Also if you are modeling you have to keep a serious face.

AdInA answered Monday December 27 2004, 5:07 pm: number one thing you have to keep in mind.. you DONT have to be pretty. many people have probably told you that, but in real life, modeling isn't all about how pretty you are. it's about your personality on the run way. if you are young around your teen years, smile a whole lot and have a happy personality! if you are an adult, be serious and dramatic. show em you've been through life and your a tough woman! now for looks.. it depends. if you are short, you can model for japan/chinese companies, if you are tall and thin you can model for pretty much anything but japan/chinese companies and plus size companies.. and if you are a little more on the heavy side, you can model for plus size companies. that's for runway.. if you want to model for fashion print or ad print.. they are more focused on looks. but remember.. the number one thing they look for is PERSONALITY! Ask_Anything answered Monday December 27 2004, 11:08 am: basic needs: extremely tall and extremely skinny.
they're awful requirements, but hey - that's a model's job for you. however, different agencies accept different requirements. just ask different agencies what they're looking for, then narrow down to the ones you fit into! =]-ask_anything [ Ask_Anything's advice column | Ask Ask_Anything A Question ]
NEVERLETG00 answered Monday December 27 2004, 10:59 am: most models are very tall and skinny, but they do have height and weight requierements in order to be a model in their agencies, i think if you just try a few and find out what their looking for youll begin to see what you need to be to become a model. good luck! =) x0 [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]
Karen answered Monday December 27 2004, 10:47 am: I think you have to be a certain height and you need to be really skinny or look really skinny. I don't think you have to really pretty but you have to be pretty decent. I know that you need to have a great pose because that's what modeling basically is. You could also search about this. Hope I helped :)
