Am i going to hell?
Alright yall, i believe in God and that Jesus is the son of God. But i dont like church one bit, and i dont like the bible. I think i'm a good person, but i do also sin (obviously). And i have a wonderful relationship with God. So am i going to hell because i dont like church, and because i dont believe alot of what the Christians believe? Please help me out if you can. Thanks alot.

Before I answer this I want to inform you that I really do not know much about any religions. In fact, every time I have a conversation with my roommates I am usually told that I'm going to go to hell if I don't start believing in something.
I don't believe any of that crap. I am a good person and I don't need the fear of god to make me a good person. I don't think I believe in God, but I'm not sure. I believe in the theory of evolution and the bible just does not make sense to me. I don't believe in heaven or hell, so how could I go to either place. I'm always told that I can't go to heaven if I don't believe in it. So why would I get sent to hell, I don't believe in hell either.
One of my roommates is the son of a preacher, or minister, or whatever the baptist religion has. He doesn't make it to church every week. He drinks, swears, has sex before marriage, and even lives with his girlfriend before marriage. So, apparently, he sins. But he believes almost everything his father teaches.
My other roommate, his girlfriend, grew up in a very catholic home. But she now goes to church with her boyfriend's baptist family. She believes a little bit of both of the religions.
Basically I'm saying you don't need to worry about shit. I don't think any religions are correct. You can't believe in just ONE religion. You should learn about everything and see what you want to believe.
If your a good person, you should have no reason to fear God. Aren't there enough things in this world to be afraid of to add the fear of some mythical thing that hasn't really helped any of us out?

If you have ever thought about the fact that you are not a christian... you are wrong. I am a strong christian also, and i N|E|V|E|R used to go to church((i hardly do even now)). and i most always considered myself a christian and stuf{ but the first time i did i only realized that i needed him in my life. But just last weekend (12/13/o4) i learnd that he really has alot to teach me. My relation ship has just begun!

As long as you believe in God, I don't think you're going to Hell. If you don't go to church, just pray. I go to Church sometimes, but not as often as I probably should. I don't think I'm going to go to Hell. Just keep your belief in God, pray, and not JUST when you need something, and that's about it. As long as you do not commit horrible sins like some people do, and you still believe in God in your last hours, you should be fine! *muah* luv britt

Have you researched some other types of Christianity to see if they believe what you believe? I think that as long as you believe in God, you won't be going to hell. Don't worry!

No your all good. You are probably a teenager. And no teens like church to much. I mean I go on sunday on my own but thats because i think its the right thing to do. but i dont always pay attention i find myself looking up at the ceiling counting the lights or windows or even the pews lol so i dont thnk your going to hell.

Why do you think your gonig to go to hell people sin everyday when they lie to their parents or cheat..You jsut ask God into your heart and ask forgivness. I belive in God and Jesus and I pray everynight but I dont go to church and I dont think I'll go to hell.. hope I helped

How do I say this? There is no easy way to say it... I'll just say it. Yes you are going to hell.I was messing. No you are not going to hell. ...Still messing. Anyway, do you have any idea how those sentences sounded? Of course I do not know what fait awaits you in the after life! I know that there should be this book of rules that told you about these stuff, but there is not (no, the Bible is not that book). It all depends on YOUR and what YOU feel is right.
I personally do not agree with every single word in the Bible or religion... but I do not think it makes me a bad person. I'm happy with how I live my life. Maybe my neighbour thinks you have to do and live by EVERYTHING THE BIBLE SAYS. The turht is, we live by our own standards of what is right. If God would had wanted any other way... it would be that way. As long as what you do is right and you truely believe in God... I do not think you are gong to Hell. But.. that is just the way I think ;-)

ok, you see, you probably are going to hell buy just what you said. even the Devil himself believes that there is a God and that Jesus is the Son of God! believing that isnt what makes you go to heaven or hell. knowing that Christ died for your sins on the cross at Calvary and that God raised him from the dead on the third day - defeating death - and knowing that God loves you and forgives your sins. you said that you were a "good person" but there is no such thing as a good person. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23. every sin is the same. you could murder all the people in a bank and take all the money and its as bad as telling your mom that you brushed your teeth when you didnt. its still a sin. you dont have to like church to be a Christian. i dont particurally care for some of them (mine) but i am still a Christian and i still go. what do you not believe alot of what the Christians believe in particular? answer that and it will be easier for me to help you. please answer that and ask me another question to finnish off this question. thanks! Hi,
Since you believe Jesus is the son of god, do you have him as your personal savior? The bible states John 3:16: For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son. That who shall ever believe in him, shall not perish, but will have ever lasting life. Meaning, if you give your life to him you will have eternal life in heaven. Well, you have to think about it, what is the reason why you don't church? Its so long to sit there and listen? Or the messages just don't make sense? And I'm sorry, the bible says, You have to be more than just a good person to get into heaven. And everyone is born with sin. There is a lot more of relationship with god though if you take time to go to church and read the bible. It may be because you haven't found a church that you can make your spiritual home. The answer if you are going to hell for not liking to go to church is no. All of us that are Christians need church to help us grow in our faith. If you don't believe most of the things Christians believe, you may call yourself a Christian, but you don't follow the beliefs of being one. Hey I'm like, the same way. I sin sometimes too, but as long as you go to confession and are truly sorry for what you've done, God will forgive you. Faith and wisdom grow with age. Don't worry about it, you'll be ok, you won't go to hell!
