I am having my 17th birthday party on friday and the theme is pink. I invited guys and they don't care that the theme is pink lol. But this is my first party where guys can come and I am worried something bad will go wrong or that my mom will stay downstairs or something. And what are some games we can play or things we can do that will be fun for both guys and girls? thanks and any other ideas will be great thanks
sweetiemegs21 answered Tuesday December 7 2004, 11:25 pm: well at my 17th party i was very nervous about things going smoothly, and i realized that i spent more time at the party trying to make things perfect and flawless, and i spent all that time worrieing when i could have been having fun. So dont think about it and just let it play out. and a lot of people wanted my mom at my party because they thought she was funny, so dont let your mom psych you out. As of games. i'm really not sure, at mine we played twister! lol. other then that we just chilled out side and had a bon-fire and talked and had lots of laughs. so dont worry about the games.. usually people there will diecide what they want to do.. *but do have a back up plan....just in case*

hErEtoheLp answered Tuesday December 7 2004, 5:04 pm: Yes board games would be good, you might want to talk it out with your mom before hand if you don't want her watching your every move. Another cool thing might be to make like a slide show of pictures with all of your friends, you know, things that'll bring back some good memories. Music of course is always good, and lots and lots of junk food. Also, movies is a no-brainer and let the party flow from wherever it takes you. Make sure the parent's aren't around and try to get it started immediatly. Have the music playing when the first people walk in. It should be a success! I hope it goes aLright for you, happy birthday! [ hErEtoheLp's advice column | Ask hErEtoheLp A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Tuesday December 7 2004, 4:59 pm: get a great movie - a chick flick may not be the best idea - unless those guys dont mind that either lol. i would get some board games that are for a big group, music is a good idea too. if you need ideas for some movies or games ask me and i can give you a list! hope you have a happy birthday!
