k . well i'm 14 and i weigh about 145lbs .. well it hink that's a lot but no1 believes i way that b.c i mean i'm not skinny but i don't look almost 150lbs .. well i play soccer, bball, tennis/track and so i have muscle especially w. soccer - but i feel fat and i was wondering if i run like for 20mins on my tredmill 3times a week .. if i'll start loosing weight er at lest tone up - i'm very self-concious and i wanna get down to like 120lbs ..please help - i'll rate =)

i know u sed everyting ur not fat, and im gunna gree with them. With your height and weight u seem fine, but if u wanna healthily tone up i think runnning is a great way..excersies is great for u and u seem to know that cucz u do a lot of sports. I bet ur rite about ur weight and that it is mostly muscle weight. If you want a second opinon try www.am-i-fat.com.. you can type in ur height and weight and they tell you what they think you could do. Ask your doctor if ur at a healthy weight and if it wud b ok to loose 30 lbs. I think running is good tho and that u shud b ok :)

Oh don't worry at all. Muscle weighs quite a bit more than fat. And 145 pounds is average weight for a fourteen year old that doesn't have muscle. So your doing good... if you think you have more "fat" around your middle, do crunches and sit ups, but ya... running can be very helpful and help you out with soccer too. the best weigh to lose weight is just to cut calories/carbs, cut sweets/sodas/junk food, eat 5 small! meals a day, and eat nutritious foods - plus an hour of vigorous work-out. So maybe go to a gym? Oh and if you want ... you could ask your mom to help you out... like tell her you want to tone up and she could like get you yoga, kickboxing, karate, pilates, tai-chi, work-out, or other classes to slim you down and tone you up. yes, running on the tredmill will help you lose some weight and probably tone up a lot. Another thing that could help you get to your goal would be to eat healthier(if you don't do that already).
just remember-
muscle weighs more than fat!

How lazy and retarded do you have to be to ASK if working out will help you lose weight?! Of course it will you stupid whore! Since you so goddamn lazy, maybe you should just stop eating! then you won't have to exercise OR make an effort to even bring food up to your mouth...i'm angry now..i hope you're happy.

if you want you can start with tighting those abs by doing sit up. start with 20 the first day then 35 and so on. i do about 350-600 a day and i have been getting tighter abs. run about a mile a day if its summer try to run outside winter you can run on the tredmill. eat good foods like a low suger cearal for breakfast, a good healthy lunch, like a saled or a pb&j sandwitch. bannas are good b/c there FULL of potasim( which is exelent for your bady) for dinner have anything that your mom or dad makes just maybe ask them to make good health stuff, drink low fat milk, for snacks have fresh fruits and good stuff! well i hope i help!

yes running will help alot but you also put in your add that you run track that should tone you up too if it isnt i suggest exercising

yea, but you might juss feel fat because when you play sports and stuff, you gain muscle, and the muscle builds under your fat, an makes you look fatter...i do crunches for muh stumache, and tha tredmill works also...hope i helped
