im 13 and im scared to wear a tampon what should i do...Im getting self concious

1st, don't be scared. Second, there are pads. I'd rather wear a tampon, but, if you choose pad, be glad, pads can come deoderized, I don't think you can get good smelling tampons. Haha, well if you want, have somebody teach you how to properly use the tampon. If you're scared to use one because you don't know how, have somebody teach you, if you're scared because you think it might hurt, or because you don't feel comfortable sticking something in your vagina, then it doesn't hurt if it's in properly, but you have the option of pads... not something I prefer, but I have worn them.

dont be scared. it really doesn't hurt. the first time might eb a little uncomfortable but it gets better aftetr that. In my opinion pearl girl are the most comfortable. also it might hurt when you pull it out but thats only when its still a little dry. I hope I helped!

dont b self concious how cna u b self concious over a tampon dont go w. pear pressure if ur nto readi 2 wear 1...i onyl wear 1 for siwmmin n my sister who is 17 still wont wear 1 tehres many risks 2 use it so if ur not comfortable w. wearin 1 than dont wear it easy as taht! hope i helped!

ask your friends what kind of tampons they think are comfortable, and then practice with a couple until you get it right. I'm sixteen, and last year is the first time i ever wore a tampon...i had the same fear! don't worry about it...practice makes perfect!

wear a tampon they dont hurt and are less hasel than pads just try it when your ready. just shut your self in the bathroom and try useing one only do this when your on ur period tho!! xx

It's not bad at all. It's very easy to use and they are alot more comfortable than pads (In my opinion anyway) Buy a box and they have a little diagram on the back that shows you how to use them. I use tampax pearl because they are much easier to use. They are a little more expensive but they are much easier to use. You just have to make sure that you are relaxed because if you're tense it's not going to work. It might take a couple of trys to get it in the first time but you'll get the hang of it. It's nothing to be scared about, you'll be fine. If you have any other questions drop one in my box. Hope this helped.
