Tanning beds
1. I want to go to a tanning bed, BUT, i heard it causes skin cancer, Does it really? Alos, I want to get a tan and I know its fall/winter almost. Would it look stupid? And how much do they usually cost? And do you have to be skinny to go to one?

you don't have to be skinny to get a tan. i suggest you don't get a tan because yes, it can cause skin cancer. skin cancer is disgusting and horrible! trust me, you don't want it. why would you get a tan if it's fall/winter? you are probably going to have to cover up most of your skin anyways because it will be cold!

YES TANNING BEDS CAUSE SKIN CANCER... and your risk is even higher than the sun becuase tanning beds do not emit the same light as the sun. (however the sun is damaging and causes skin cancer too) And i know they say that 1 or 2 times in a tanning bed doesnt hurt ( which it doesnt) but it also doesnt get you tan! Try mistic tanning... it works so good! Tanning beds also frys your ovaries which makes it so you cant have babies.

Its not very likely to cause skin cancer...but it can. And no it doesnt matter if you are skinny or not. You wont look stupid unless you get too tan to the point where it looks really fake.

it can cause cancer but it is not a high ratio also it would not look stupid to be tan over winter it will just make you tanner for summer and they usually are like 30$ a month and you dont have to be skinny

ok well u can get a spray on tan.. but no u dont have to b skinny to get a tan! lol and it depens on what tanning place u go to... i go to a teen salon in bedford and its 15$.. hope ive helped!

It does cause skin cancer. Did u no tknow that? It won't look stupid, most people are naturally tan. And it does cost some money..that's why richer people usually have it done and no u dont have to be skinny? Don't do the mist on.. it sometimes looks strange depending on what color u are naturally.

I use to tan alll the time until I heard it makes u turn into a prune really young.. like i have seen girls who tanned all there teenage years and they are wrinkly now (they are like 25) plus it causes skin cancer! Anyways you have your whole life to be in the sun don't try and push it now... try investing in a nice fake tan (some products are relally good)

I use a tanning bed during winter also, yes I have heard and I do believe it causes skin cancer, but I don't follow that..I still do it anyways, No I don't think it looks stupid..I try to stay tan all year round..alot of girls do during winter..it depends on how long you want to tan for..the place I go is 5$ a tanning session, but they have special offers..like I pay 85$ for 3 and 1/2 months..and no you don't have to be skinny to go to one..anyone any weight can use one..they have stand up ones so if your not too skinny you could always use the stand up one to help you feel more comfortable

hey i have a tanning account and usually they are about 30-40 dollars per month. It wouldnt look dumb at all to have a tan during the winter! alot of people do it when its cold because they dont wanna be so white and you get witer in the winter! i say you should go for it. It doesnt matter what size you are anyone can go. AS for skin cancer its the same as being in out in the sun but it actually doesnt have as much harmful rays! yup actually being exposed to this light has its good sides!!! if your worried look it up online the godd effect and bad effects!!

Yeah it could cause skin cancer later inlife, but so can the sun. So what the hell is the difference. No it wouldnt look stupid. Alot of people tan even after the summer season is over. It all depends on prices. Different types of salons charge different pirces. It also depends on where you live. And alos the sessions you are choosing. It is usually cheaper if you get more sessions. And all kind of people go to tanning beds. So dont worry about if you dont think your not skinny enough.

Yes, you can get cancer! but, it is only if you go too frequently. You should also ALWAYS check into the background of the tanning place and the reliability of it.

yeah tanning beds can cause skin cancer in some people also dont go to often because my friend used to go like 4 times every week and it caused alotta medical problems. No it wouldnt look stupid alot of people are tan year round, like me for example, and i dont think it looks stupid. The prices vary from which place you go anywhere between $3 to even $20. No you dont have to be skinny to go to one its just you and yourself in a tanning bed room no one else!

Yes, it is a proven fact that tanning beds CAN cause cancers. Maybe not by just going one time, but it can. Each time you do you increase the risks of developing it more and more. Think about that. You can get a tan during non-summer months without look weird. Try Myst-On Tan. It is available at any tanning place pretty much. It is about on average $15 per time. You can't get in water for 4 hours after and it lasts about 5-7 days. It look pretty good. No, you do NOT have to be skinny to go get a tan..you could be fat, short, tall, think, average, blue, black, green. It doesn't matter. If you don't want to try Myst-On there is a home tanner you could try that unlike others does NOT leave you orange or streaky. It's called Toma's Tan Perfect and it is available at Target, Walgreens, Eckerd, etc. It's about $15-20 and looks like the real deal!! Try any of those options! :)
