I'm not sure what I should do...
Okay, here's the thing. I have a friend who used to really really like this guy. She was like obsessed! :o It annoyed me sometimes...well, onto the point. I like him now, and my friend likes somebody else. It's been quite a while since she liked him. Well, now I like him. But I'm afraid my friend might still like him, plus I'm not sure he likes me back, even though I think so. Please answer, and please be realistic. Don't be all like "Forget your friend, ask him out!!11"

I would have to say talk to your friend and see if she still likes him, or if she would care that yew might wanna hook up with him. If she has no problem with it then great just talk to the guy and see how he feels. If he feels the same way then thats great! I duno if I was much help but good luck!

Okay. First off...why don't you ask your friend? Talk to her about it. Just simply ask how she would honestly feel about it. If she says she's over him, then take it to the next step. Tell the kid!

Well if she likes someone else right now, then go for him. But talk to her& find out if she still likes him. If she doesn't then you got lucky, if she does, well..then you'll have to decide if you would choose friendships over relationships. Also, ask her how she would feel if you two hooked up. Hmm...I'm not sure what you should do here. What I think you should do is casually bring up the guy you like to your friend and talk to her about him for a while. You should be able to tell if he likes him still, but if you really can't, just ask her. But first make her swear to keep the convo a secret, if you wish. If she doesn't, all is well.
