jeanine278972 answered Friday October 15 2004, 7:07 pm: I like any straightner with GOLD plates. Silver and black really suck. They dont get as hot as Gold and dont keep your hair straight. Also.. get one with adjustable heat settings. Like number settings instead of just high and low. They work better!!
Michelley answered Friday October 15 2004, 5:38 pm: The best ones are probably CHI Turbo (*but they're $159.95-$179.95)but Conair is good too (*about $25) ...basically anything ceramic..Hot Tools (*about $50) works reallly good and so does Wigo Jadle(*about $139.95-$159.95) you can only get them @ Ulta I think band its made out of semi-percious stones and supposedly works good, heats up fast, doesn't damage hair!
