If u live in a warmer area you might want to try running becuz it will make a sweatand u'll sweatthe cold off. For the sore throat take a cough drop and plenty of water. Also, u can try gargling lukewarm water with salt in it. Good Luck!

I don't think so. There's a saying that goes something like "If you leave a cold alone, it will go away in a week. If you treat the cold, it will go away in a week anyway". But you can probably allieviate some of the symptoms by drinking lots of juice. And more juice. And even more juice. On top of some cough syrup.
I hope you feel better. Sore throats suck.

get lots of rest and fluids, no soda. and keep throat drops on hand.

p.s i think some people think that you want to get rid of a cold sore, not a cold or sore throat.

Gargle with warm salt water and drink tea with honey. I know it sounds generic, but I have done it before singing tryouts when I had an atrocious sore throat and it cleared me up for a few hours. Have a fun weekend.

Guzzle water and fruit juices, get looooots of sleep. Avoid soda. Ooh, and Halls strawberry vapor action cough drops work marvellously for sore throats. I'm a singer - I use those to fix my throat if I have a cold before an audition or something.
Hope this helps!

Rest. Lost of rest. A cold is caused by a virus, so the best bet is to get lots of rest, eat well, and drink lots of water - avoid pop, fruit juices are ok.
