Confused about my future

Question Posted Sunday October 10 2004, 8:50 am

Hi, my problem is this. I'am a 21 year old female from Australia. I've worked in numerous jobs ranging from a Hardware to a Chemist and at the moment i work at my local supermarket. At the moment i'am studying medical administration but i dislike it very much. I can't seem to hold down a job because i still don't know what to do for a future career. I dislike studying but i don't want to let my family down. Time is running out, financially i'am really poor and concerned about my future. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well since you keep bouncing from job to job, then that shows you have no interest for them.. Find something you absolutely LOVE to do. For instance, if you love to cook then you should go into cooking and maybe open a business. So find out what you love to do first, then go from there! Hope it helped! Brittany

Time is not running out, you can always learn new things. If you don't like medical admin, change majors. See a an academic counselor and express your concerns. Then they can guide you to the next step. If you are very far along, maybe you should finish the degree, get a job and start another one field. Don't burn any bridges because you may need their help later to get along.

The link I'm going to give you is a quiz, called "Right Job, Wrong Job" I took it just for fun..and it told me the job that was perfect me would be detective work stuff. Well suprisingly, Thats what I want to be. So it does work!

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
It gives you free information on what you want to be, and you can buy a full report but yeah..if it wont let you take the quiz..try creating an account. hope I helped

well i know im only 15 but i think that you should finish out your degree in that field and then find a job and when you have more money and can go back to school then do what you want to do. in the mean time look around at the different fields you could major in and learn about them and figure out what it is you really want to do with your life. you have plenty of time. i hope i helped! -kayla
ps. ive always wanted to go to australia lol
