is what you know!
so..write a autobiography..tell all about yourself, your life, your family..etc..you'll easily have 400 words & since you know so much about the topic, it'll be really good. =)

This question is a simple one. Being that the situation allows you to write about anything, write about what you feel comfortable about. Keep the criteria in mind. You must be able to write 400 words. Make sure the topic give you choose is familar and comfortable enough for you to reach the required word length.
A list of possible essay topics include:
-current events- statewhat your views are
- an analysis on a book or movie
- write about yourself

There are many things you could write about. For one, think of something that you really like or are interested in and you feel you could write a lot about. I've decided myself if I ever need to do something like that, I'd write about the pentogram. So find a interest, research a little and write about it. You could write about yourself. That should be easy. I mean it's you, so you know a lot right there. You could write about a sport you like, music you like, or something. You could even write about a life experience you've had that meant a lot to you. Or write about a friend you envy immensly. Good luck.

write an editorial about a contriversial issue, like gay marriage or abortion. write about who the better canadate is for president. write about Iraq. Vent your oppinuions about how gross school lunch is (mine is anyway). Write about how awesome the redsox are! ha ha.

There's a few things that you can write about!:
-your favorite sport, band, movie, and any other favorites
-your hobbies
-the presidential election
There are so many other topics that you can choose from!! Also, when I want to write an essay, I just pick a topic that I wrote the previous year and my teacher doesn't ever find out that I already written about that topic!!

What are you intrested in? Think about it...you can write about the presidential election, your favorite book, magazine, favorite music artist..hope I helped! Oh and a good idea is to write about something you wrote about last year or the year before or something and you'll do really good. because you wrote about it before..just make sure the teacher doesnt know!
