ok see i knew that i would be seeing my boyfriend on friday (last friday) so i didnt eat rly anything all week maybe 3 things..seriously! and i only drank water and see when i saw my boyfriend he said i looked thinner!!...i was happy and i was wondering what are other bad things that'll happen if i keep up what ive been doin?? plz dont say..you'll die or get sick!! it made me feel better about my self cz my stomach wasent as big almost flat

Eating disorders WILL make you sick and CAN lead to death, whether you want to hear about it or not. If you develop anorexia, your life will be dominated by calorie counting, lying to friends and family, and developing serious health problems.
If you are genuinely overweight or want to feel better about yourself, there are better longterm ways of doing so. One is a healthy level of exercise. This will tone your stomach or other areas, increase your general fitness, and get you in a good lifelong habit.
Eating disorders happen when you think you are controlling the food, but one day you wake up and realize that the food is controlling you.
Will your boyfriend find you attractive when you become emaciated, lose your hair, suffer constant dizziness, have irregular heartbeats, grow a fine layer of downey hair all over your body to keep yourself warm, and love your disorder more than him?

Is looking good for a guy really worth all these risks? Absolutely not. If you want to lose weight to feel better about yourself there are healthier ways to do this. Following a healthy diet and exercise routine will help you slim down safely. I personally recommend the Atkins diet and walking for 30 minutes at least three times a week, and drink at least a gallon of water a day and green tea sweetened with Splenda. SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Sunday October 3 2004, 9:46 pm: well if u keep doing that ur gonna look sick... ur gonna start to get dark circles under ur eyes & your face will look unhealthy and unattractive... another thing is once u eat normally ( which ur gonna have to do sooner or later ) ur gonna gain it all baQ... plus more... ur metabolism is gonna get slower... & everything u eat ur body is gonna store it as fat... its like when u know a storm is comin... u store up food... just like that ur body stores up ur food as fat instead of digesting it... cuz it doesnt know when its gonna get food again... since u have a lotta will power... try dieting the rite way... instead of not eatin anything eat salads and fruit... tender_hearts_x answered Sunday October 3 2004, 8:15 pm: you dont have to starve yourself to loose weight.. if you starve yourself it can become a real big problem.. and trust me you dont want to get yourself into that bcuz ( i know you dont want to hear this ) but if i does go too far you can truely get really sick and possibly die.. you can just watch what you eat ( healthy things ) and excersize alot.. well not like alot alot just a few times a week.. maybe everyday if you wana loose weight that badly.. hope i helped..

I felt great about myself, but now that I look back at pictures, I think I'd rather be a fat ugly thing then be as thin as I was. (i'm not fat or ugly, just using that as an 'example')
Well, just think like this, there was this one episode of oprah on a LONG time agoe, and this lady thought she was fat because she couldn't fit her fingers around her arm(like RIGHT under her elbow) and if that means your fat that I'm Obese. Soon after she lost hair, and her veins were doing something funny, and she passed away.
I didn't really realize what I was doing until I was down to about 50lbs, I was aneorexic from the end of fourth all the way to the first month of 7th, now that I look back it was soooo hard.
If you want to make yourself look better, go on a 30 minute walk, eat only 5 meals a day... breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. Don't have any sweets past 6 unless it's the weekend, and your having a sleepover or party, or unless it's for dinner

TucanFullOfHoles answered Sunday October 3 2004, 6:42 pm: umm, you don't want to hear it so i won't tell you that you're distroying your body, and i won't tell you that you're breaking up vital organs, and i sure as hell won't tell you that you're also destroying muscle, and soon you won't look good, but just grossly skinny either. you already mentioned the other two things i'm not going to tell you.
i will tell you that there are other ways to A.) lose weight--like the healthy way, and B.) feel better about yourself.
eat less and excersize more.
tell yourself you're beautiful even if you think you're being cocky. find things about your self that are good. body image should not be the end all of how you feel about yourself. maybe you're a really great artist, or you're really smart. maybe you're athletic or something. those are all positive attributes that should make you feel better about yourself that don't involvee body image.
