Don't worry, or listen to your gay doctor. My mom was telling me a story and she did not get hers until she was 17. I got mine at 12 so it all depends on when your ready, not when your parents get it or anything else. It will happen DO NOT be in a rush

Hey, don;t worry, it's normal that your period hasn't come yet. It just means that your body isn't ready yet. Some girls don't even get their period until they are around 17 and 18 years old. Just be lucky that you haven't gotten it yet because it's a pain that you have to go through all these cramps and tampons lol!! Unfortunately, I got mine early and I wish I hadn't because I hate having cramps lol. Hope I helped :)

First off, someones sexuality, does not denote there practice of work-You have to trust your doctor, because right now, he's the only one that can see whats wrong with you.

You'll probably get it soon, don't worry.

The best of luck,Dear.

First of all, you SHOULD talk to your mom and ask her if you could get a FEMALE doctor, especially at your age, to make things a little bit more comfortable! =)

Also, it's perfectly fine not to be getting your period yet, most girls get it between the ages of 9-15 or 16. So, maybe you have even two more years period-free! Consider yourself lucky!

But, if you currently have discharge, then your period will come within a year! =)

Hope my advice will help you!

its totally normal. my friend just got her period and shes 15. most girls get in between 12-16. its still ok if you dont get it after 16, just as long as you do by 18. but trust me, you dont want it. its a huge pain in the ass. my friend thought the same thing as you...that is until she got it. she, like most girls, start hating it as soon as they do get it. if you want/need to talk about guys or girl stuff, you can always talk to me. i'll try and help in any way i can or i'll just listen if you want me to. my sn's blinkbabe2469. dont worry hun.

It's totally ok.If you haven't started by age 16 that's when your doctor will want to run some tests and see what's up.All females develope at a different rate. Some will start at age 10,some will start 16!I wouldn't worry for now.Like I said,if nothing has happened by 16,most doctors will want to check things out.Oh,and if you don't like your doctor you might wanna switch. It's very important that you're comfrotable with your doctor, especially that kind of doctor!! ;)

Don't worry about it much. I was almost 14 when I started, I know people who were 17 and 18 before theirs. It's fine. Count yourself lucky you didn't get it when you were 11 or so (yes, people get it that young). Don't worry about it, enjoy not having to worry about it while you can.

It's perfectly fne not to have started yet, some people start when they're as young as 10 and some as late as 19, it depends on who you are, don't stress you were right your doctor is gay.

Jane answered Monday September 27 2004, 12:05 pm:
*Girls can start their period from age 9-16. Your lucky you haven't had yours yet hehe. But your time will come. Ask your grandmother(if you comfortable) about what age she started. Oh yeah, very few girls don't even get their period, so if your 16 and still don't have it then you might want to check up on that.*
