Well my mom has a daycare and i know all about the newborns and when they cry try smellin them and then try to give them a bottle (thats the simple part) just make sure when you are giving them a binki them wiggle it in there mouths because most of the time there tongue just pushes it out again then try to put them to sleep with a biinki and when it comes to changing there diaper plug your nose and just wipe it untill it is all gone and put there fresh diaper on fairly loose kind if tight. most of the time when they cry they want a bottle diaper change or binki so try one of those. but what i do when they want warm milk i put water in a pot and put the bottle in there but in LOW!!!! and then feed it to them ....

ok well i have had two younger siblings that i had to take care of all the time, and ok about the crying thing basically just hold them and rock them and try to give the baby a bottle, and after you are done heating it up make sure you squirt some on your wrist to make sure its not to hot,(your wrist is the most sensitive place) and then try that, and if that isn't whats wrong then try to change the diapper, which won't be too offle hard...and then when you go to put her to bed just sit there and talk to her softly or rock her to sleep and sing to her, i know it sounds dumb but it works, and if you ask your aunt if she reads to her, then you can do that too, well have fun!! and goodluck!

ok i babysit a 1 year old baby. i've learned that when u change a diaper give them something to play with as ur changing it so that way they aren't moving all around and stuff. and when u are gonnna feed them a bottle, u can always warm it up by puttin it in the microwave or in a bucket of hot water. and dont let them see it if its not ready they will go crazy. lol. umm.. i cant think of anything else.. the baby i baby sit isnt bad so i dont kno much else lol.
rate me!

Babysitting kids is a tough job and requires a lot of patience. I'm sure the parents will tell you what to do, but if the babies start crying they're either hungry, tired, or want held. Just hold them and bounce gently. It should help stop the crying. I have twin neices and i babysat them all the time so I know about this stuff lol. With diapers, they can get REALLY gross but ya gotta deal with it. Just take it of and roll it up and put the sticky strips around it so that its sealed and throw it in the trash can. Wipe the baby with the baby wipes, make sure you get all the "junk" lol. and put a new diaper on. Bottles..well I'm sure they'll tell you how to do bottles but if they don't..read the directions on the formula and heat it up for like 30 seconds or so. Make sure its not to hot..pour some of it out through the nipple onto the INSIDE OF YOUR WRIST. If its not hot, then its alright to give to the baby. If you have any more questions lemme know. :)

My specialty. I have 3 little brothers..i think i can help out!
FOR CHANGING DIAPERS : if its only urine in the diaper first of all say "thank you lord" lol..then take a wipe and wipe on the private area..(you dont want it getting irritated)
If its a #2..lay the baby on a changing table or wherever you change the baby..and dig in. Lift the legs up and wipe all of "it" up..be careful not to miss any spots because that will also irritate the baby.
Also, never leave the baby in a dirty diaper any longer than you have to..it causes diaper rashes if you wait too long.
After you`ve wiped everything up..put it in the diaper and roll the diaper up..put it in a plastic bag and dispose of it however your instructed to. Put the new diaper on (if you dont know how to do that ask the mom of the kids before she leaves because its better to show you then to tell you)..i know you dont want to ask but its your cousins ..its not a stranger..so im glad the mom will be glad to show you.

FOR CRYING: the baby cries for a reason..he/she may want attention, bottle, diaper change, or
because he/she is tired. He/she may also cry when the mom first leaves..when the baby does cry do your best to keep he/she occupied. Put on a kids show, play with the baby, hold the baby, try giving it a bottle, try putting him/her to sleep.

AS FOR BOTTLES: when the baby is hungry give the bottle and hold him/ her in your arms. Support the neck and feed the bottle to him/ her. Be sure to take the bottle out every now and then so the baby can relax and take a breath. Afterwards, pick the baby up..and pat his back gently until he burps.

my finers hurt now lol..well hope i helped..you`ll do great hun! :)
