barthez4 answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 10:52 am: when i play tennis (just for fun, not on a team), i just use my regular running shoes. i have adidas ozweego cross-trainers. the outside is part leather, part mesh (the mesh is mainly where your toes are).
bella627 answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 12:34 am: I used to play tennis and I always wore regular cross trainers like adidas or new balance. make sure they're not too tight...maybe ask the salesperson for a shoe that won't let your foot slide forward and hit your toes. it shouldn't matter if they're not "tennis" shoes, as long as they're comfortable for you to play in! U can buy them at ur local Payless or Model's, or any other place where they sell shoes, for as little as 10 - 70. Choose wisely, and u can ask managers and people who work at the stores to help u find exactly wat u're looking for!
