I have the same problem, with my bestfriend and I like him alot but I just don't know how to tell him. But if u have known him for along time make sure that u really like him, because if u don't and u tell him that u do u might regret it for a long time. So don't tell him quit yet just wait a few more months an if u realize that u really like him then go ahead and tell him.

If your really worried about ruining your friendship try to talk to some of his other friends and see if they know anything about who he likes.That way if he likes you , you can go and tell him because you know he feels the same way.Hope i helped.

You can't hide your feelings and it't not like you can't control who you like. Try talking to him and telling him how you feel. Just be like "It won't ruin our friendship, it'll always stay the same way, but I have feelings for you and I want to know how you feel about me, and if there is any chance me and you could hook up."
