If you want to know whats going on with your body and you dont want your mother to know, go see a clinic. they can get check you out or recomend you somewhere without your parents knowing. its totally confidential and free. if you dont want 2 go to the clinic, it doesnt help, or dont have one near you, talk to your doctor. when i visit my doctor, she always blabs about how i can tell her anything in confidentiality and maybe she can recomend you to a gyno or someone who can help you. but you should tell your mother. she could probably help you with the problem and she may be understanding. she was a kid once, remember?

Try talkin to a friend about it and see if maybe she will help you talk to your mom or she can talk to her for you...make sure you really trust this friend.

Hunni you need to tell your Mom and if you aren't comfortable about telling her then tell someone you are comfortable telling and get them to tell your Mom sometime when you're not around but you need to get to the doctor before this gets to serious! I will be PRAYin for you! the BIBLE says for by HIS stripes I am healed believe that and you will be healed! Have you seen Passion of the CHRIST!! If not by it! everyone! hope I hepled!

Well, no infection is a good infection. You need to decide what is more important to you - your health, or the embarassment of having to ask your mom for help.

You could always tell her you just wanted an appointment to see the doctor, but she's probably ask you why. It's hard to give more advice because you didn't provide a lot of information, but the bottom line is that you need to see a doctor.

If your mom is the way to drive you to the doctor and make the appointment, then you'll have to be upfront with her and share your concerns.

Well if your REALLY scared then you could maybe say that your friend blah blah has the infection and ask her about it that way. But you should really just ask her and tell her that you think you have an infection, and ask about it. you could also mention to her you were nervous about talking to her about it. :)

you have to talk to your mother!..if most of the people on here said it was an infection, then chances are they could be right! either talk to your mother or ask a close friend or relative for help--before it gets serious!

i do not know your age but if your age is 16, you can go to the hospital on your own and they can give you some help

Just talk to your mom =) It might seem embarrassing, but she'll be glad you asked her about it. She's probably had the same thing at some point in her life, + she'll know what to do.

soljette answered Friday August 13 2004, 11:54 pm:
are you talking about the yeast infections? i never got one, but i know that you can get one of those yeast infection pills or whatever they are, from local drug stores; like cvs, rite aid, wal greens etc. im pretty sure its called monostat or something like that. you can find it in the aisle where they sell condoms and pregnancy tests. so if youre afraid to go to your mother about it, just bring a couple dollars with you and go to a drug store.

You need to talk to your mom. Period. She has been through everything you have, and she will know what to do to get you help. You shouldn't be afraid to talk to her- she is your mother, and as you get older, you will have to talk to her about more difficult things. You better get used to it
