ok well my friend **** is always hangin out with me but when my sister is with us (( shes 21)) it seems like she just hangs out with her not me like she likes her beter when shes with me( idk what 2 do b.c i dont want to lose this friend))
DearBritney answered Friday August 13 2004, 10:04 pm: Dear Bee,
try bringing it up to your friend. ask her if she likes your sister better than her, and tell her that you would really appreciate it if she would hang out with you rather than your sister when she is over, because you feel left out. your only other 2 options are to a) tell your sister that you feel like she is taking your friends away or b) get your sister to go to one of her friend's house when you know that your friends are coming over.

Life if your sisters home go sumwhere or go 2 her house. But since I know you cant avoid your sister around her all the time tell your sister about how you feel.. Im sure she'll understand how you feel!!Any more ?'s Just ask!! x0x [ xShAdYzBaBi3x's advice column | Ask xShAdYzBaBi3x A Question ]

FernGully answered Friday August 13 2004, 3:59 pm: This happens a lot. It still happens to me because everyone likes my sister sooooooooooo much and it just makes me want to wretch. Anyway, your friend just wants to feel cool by usurping some cool off your older sister. You won't lose her as a friend but if it really bothers you then you might consider talking to her about it. A good friend won't go out of their way to do something that you've told them hurts you. [ FernGully's advice column | Ask FernGully A Question ]
sportscutie13 answered Friday August 13 2004, 3:52 pm: It shouldn't be a problem to you if she wants to hang out with your sister. It might be disturbing. You should talk to her and try to tell her you want to hang out with her too even when your sister is there. I hope I helped! [ sportscutie13's advice column | Ask sportscutie13 A Question ]

OrangeLuverr answered Friday August 13 2004, 3:25 pm: People usually like hanging out with older people because it makes them feel cooler, ur friend probably just thinks shes cool for that...i wouldnt realy worry about the losing her as a friend part, because im sure ur friend isnt doing it on purpose.
