My room is too small and plain!
oK wElL..my room is soo small i have a huge bed and a dresser and chest and a very tiny bit of room to walk in my room looks just so small and i wanted to paint it and get a theme but i dont know what to do to make it bigger and what kind of theme cuz my mom wont let me paint it or gett anything for it cuz we dont have the money plez help!

yea..hmm..okay --> maybe you can just like..move the chest thing out...put it in the garage or attic/storage place..w/e you have...re-arrange your room too`! make sure you dont put anything like catty-corner or anything..that takes up alota room escpecially wen you dont have that much. and w. your walls..just like the ?? i just answered lol..you can gett shopping bags and pictures of friend and stuff to hang up..make a cologe or something and hang it on your walls. that should get you started`! you can probably think of more ideas while your doing all this`!!

i have the same problem...i am using my moms old HUGE furniture in a small room!!!! maybe ask ur mom if u cud like do chores around the house or something and in exchange yall can paint ur room and get a few things 2 decorate and ur can do it cheap by doing it urself like craft store items (lamps pic frames etc.) and paint it a light color and see if u can hang some decorative mirrors on the walls 2 make it look bigger or put big mirrors on ur closet doors and u can paint it urself 2 save money just watch some home decorating shows (maybe While You Were Out or Trading Spaces on TLC) and look up some tips on the internet!!!! hope this helps!!!!!=)

Home Depot and Lowe's usually has mismatched paint that people don't like for between $2-6. Just keep an eye out for a color that you like. You could go to the thrift store and pick up a mirror to make the room look bigger. Maybe if you you rearrange the furniture, it might feel bigger.

Paint is pretty cheap, ask your mom if you can do some work around the house // babysitting and buy it yourself. You can try sell your big bed and buy a smaller one. If your dresser or chest will fit in your closet without causing any problems, you can try putting it in there.

Try to talk your mom into letting you get a smaller bed! That'll make it seem bigger!

to make it look bigger, put a mirror on one whole wall. like the wall that you see when you first walk in. if you think you nee to paint it, martha stewart has cans of paint for $20. and alot of colors. and at alot of home improvement stores, there will be shelves of paint that they are saleing for cheaper than they should be because they made the wrong shade by accident or something. also having your room be the same color as our bed spread helps a whole lot.

well if you dont have the money who should get rid of one of the objects you dont need and then you will get money and you can paint it! If you dont want like your dresser you can put your clothes in you closet!

Ok. Well I don't know if this will help you. I hope it will. But like for my room it was all one color at first and it looked SO SMALL! ((it was blue by the way)) ... and well it was one solid color. It sucked. And it looked totally small.....
But then me and my mom painted it all yellow and then put a orange stripe with one lime green stripe on each side of the orange stripe.... the orange stripe went all the way around the room but it was like in the middle of the wall you know? K... lol stay with me.
It made the room seem so much brighter (cause it was with the light shining threw)... and it also seemed open and bigger.... and you could also decorate with oranges and the same color green and even white... it looks so good right now... i know this is long but i had to get all the details in...

Yeah J14 has lots of posters I got them on the back of my door..lol..but buy tons n tons of posters from walmart and spencers and stuff they are really cheap and cool! Hope I Helped!
