Keep Busy with a hobbie or a sport. Something that will help you forget him and get over the relationship you had. Just have lots of fun and all the trouble you have now will be all gone!

Get involved in some interests of yours. Always been interested in acting? Join drama club. Like writing? Join the newspaper. Play sports (intramural or competitive!).

A good way to get over an ex is to go out of the house more. That's how I got over my ex. I would go to the mall with my friends( and wear something SEXY) and other guys would try to talk to me letting me know I still had it. Exercising is good for getting over an ex because it's relaxing. If that person got on your nerves, sometimes being around them can make you realize why they are your ex. Talk to other guys (guy friends, possible boyfriends, etc.). Getting over an ex can be quite easy if you're very confident about yourself andknow who you are. Good luck girl and believe me, you will have fun, lol!

alisonmarie answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 11:12 am:
If a relationship ends, it's usually because it had some problems. Take some time to sit alone and think about what those problems were - it could help you realize that the relationship was not right for you.

I'd also let your close friends know how you were feeling; they can probably relate, and at the very least cheer you up. Your friends obviously like and respect you, otherwise they wouldn't be your friends...and who better to boost your self-esteem than people who care about you?

I also find it personally helpful to write; poetry, freewrites, and journaling can help you sort out your emotions and move on. Good luck.

it's always hard to get over someone, but usually, meet some new people, maybe date someone else, hang out with your friends and have some fun, just try not to do anything that will get you to think about him

hope this helps :)
