Prom

Question Posted Saturday August 7 2004, 12:22 am

Say there's someone I want to ask to the prom...how much time before it should I ask him? I don't want to wait too long because he might ask someone else, but I know that if I ask him too early it'll look a bit weird, or as though I'm desperate. I just want some advice on that, thanks!

hey just wait like a couple of weeks before the prom. or you could have one of his buddies keep you posted on his asking other girls situation.

you can casually mention it and let him kno you want to go with him way ahead of time, but i wouldn't really invite him (as in you want a definite answer) until a couple of weeks before the tickets go on sale

I think that if you want to ask someone to prom you should wait a little longer. Its early in the year yet to be asking people to prom. Alot could happen between then and now. so i say if your not already friends with this person.. then become great friends with them.. then when people start getting dates for prom Ask who you'd like!:).. who knows maybe you'll change your mind by then. And hopefully if your really good friends or even dating you have the best prom of your life! ;) Plus you'll feel alot more comfortable and you will be able to relax more.. with a friend then if you were there with a stranger.. and if they are already your friend then just bring up the subject and see how they feel on it.. or if they mention someone they want to bring. If not.. then bring it up casually that u 2 should go.. sumthin like " Hmm maybe we could end up going together.... just a thought.. its far off yet.. but you never know" Its casual and you can see there reaction ;)

Good Luck :)

-hope i helped-

xoxo
