okay this is going to sound taky but girls like guys with there OWN style. just dress in what makes you comfortable. no point you going around looking like an idiot pulling of someone elses look. if you need help on finding your style look at what sports you play your favourite colours the type of music you like ect .it helped me find the clothes im into.
btw if its a date go casual just with the little extra effort. ;)

It just depends on what girl you're asking. There's plenty of girls that tend to date guys who dress "preppy" or who dress "scene" & what not. Personally, I just prefer guys to dress comfortable, but not messy. I dated a guy who wore the same gym shorts like a few days in a row, and it really grossed me out. As long as he takes care of himself, that's all that really matters to me.

If it were me i would like a dude in a polo and khakis. or a rocker dude... it just depends on my mood, but if they are clean and are themselves it wont matter.

Something clean! There is no exact answer to this question. Many women like different styles on guys. Some like the laid back look, some like the suit and tie and others like the rocker dude look. The key is to dress to express yourself and not to put on a facade (and trust me women know!). Women love men who are confident in who they are on the inside and your outer wear should follow that lead.
