jokerzgrl answered Thursday August 19 2004, 11:21 am: I've had to do this as well, I have the type of mother who never keeps me in one school for more than three years, so I'm used to it. Think about it, you don't know anyone, its a wonderful oppertunity to meet new people and learn new things, its ok to be nervous, just don't be scared to try new things or meet new people. I know, sometimes its stressful, and maybe a little frightning, just stay strong and confident, and don't let anyone break your confidence. And if you encounter any more problems, feel free to ask for advice, I've been down that road,

Before class starts if no ones really talking (the person thats next to you) don't be afraid, just maybe comment on something that their wearing or crack a joke, everyone loves to laugh! I mean come on, the movies that we see, not everyone can be that stuck up, and hey a few guys or girls depending which sex you are, might hit on you, go for it.. Start making friends, it's easy I promise. Just keep your head up and smile, everyone notices someone whos smiling, it attracts people actually, they want to know what's up! Good luck!

Just strike up random conversations and you'll make friends fast!
You don't have too much to worry about. If I can make friends AND get a boyfriend at a public school after being in a private school for eight years of my life, you can, too.
Hope I helped!

Everytime, i had to start at a new school, I felt the same way. i was so nervous. the trick is you just have to be yourself. trust me, you will meet atleast 1 person in one of your classes and relate to them. Also, people will probbaly approach you or be interested in you, because you will the "new kid". This is good, because you will be able to meet different people, and based on the personalities you like, do that process of elimination thing and make some friends. Hope I helped and Good Luck! :)
SeXyBLuEyEzGuRL answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 9:51 pm: oh i had to move before and it was really hard. The best thing you can do is try to start talking to some of the people in your class and befriending them. It may take a while or it may not. it all depends on your personality. Good luck with everything! [ SeXyBLuEyEzGuRL's advice column | Ask SeXyBLuEyEzGuRL A Question ]
Kaylax3 answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 9:51 pm: I moved this year to a total new school. For the first 2 months everyday I would cry. I would constantly say, "I WANT TO MOVE BACK" but now I have tons of great friends, a boyfriend, and a house a love more than anything. Truthfully, now I would never move back. Hope I helped.
