You would know if your friend had it.. A congenital disorder, caused by the presence of an extra 21st chromosome, in which the affected person has mild to moderate mental retardation, short stature, and a flattened facial profile.

down syndrome is retardation..if you have it you're eyes are somewhat slanted and u have a large head..also you have short stubby fingers

Down Syndrome is a retardation. And I think you'd notice if your friend had it. Usually if you have Down syndrome ur eyes are kinda big and u have a big head and you can see the retardation..hope i helped

my cuzin has down syndrome and its not somethin u jus get out of the blue its somethin u r born with its a disability that gives the person teh haves it mentals problems like usually they are grades bellow but they are the same age my cuz is only one grade bellow what she should be so ur friend i bet is jus messin wit u or jus immature

If your freind has down syndrome you would know it. i am not an expert in this or anything so i could be wrong, but it is a disabillity that happend even before you are born.it has to do with the chromosomes and all that. if they have an extra one they could have down syndorm. and also you can notice it physicly. i would go to a web page or ask one of the special Ed. teachers. hope i could help.

unless ur friend has had this since birth, then she doesnt have it. down syndrome is a type of disease that causes you to be mentally retarded. if ur friend just acts really stupid sometimes, then she prolly doesnt have it.

Down syndrome is something you are born with. It makes you slightly mentally retarded. People with down sydndrome usually have slanted eyes and stubby fingers. If your friend just has blonde moments once in a while or is forgetful, she probably doesn't have it. It isn't something that you can get, like a normal disease, you have to be born with it.

down syndrom ... well it means that your a little slow and you dont think as quickly as others .. dont just assume your friend has it though because that could hurt their feelings!
