EsseNeminem answered Sunday July 25 2004, 6:54 pm: No, the foods you eat do not give you pimples, this is a myth. I work for a doctors' office and frequently speak to the employed doctors about the facts and myths of certain disorders I have had. Acne is basically several bacterial infections in the skin of the face. This skin tends to be very oily and porous so bacteria will find it easy to grow here. The best thing to do is to get on a daily oral antibiotic and a topical medication, but unless you put oil on your face, you should not be any more prone to getting zits. If you have greasy fingers, and touch your face, yes you may, but eating the food unless you are allergic to it can Never cause a breakout unless it carries the bacteria, in which case you shouldn't be eating it.
