friends
ok well i just got an inground pool done at my house and i do like having my friends come over and swim in it...but one day my friends just came over and expected me to ask them to come in it...then when they're done they just get out and leave and go to someone elses house to hang out..does this mean they're just using me and they're not REALLY my friends?

not to be rude but *takes a breath* DUH!!!!! they are using you i mean well thats the obvious answer. i mean its not like with out the pool they wouldnt be your friend (depending on the person) but i mean if they just leave and dont talk to you unless its swim time then yah they're so using you but heres some advise. when they ask tell them no its hard at first but here lets practice. NO!!!!!!!! see that wasnt hard and if they ask why then tell them that you feel like they're only using you and if they get all mad and leave then thats because they know they are and they are being convicted by their conscience. sorry if i was too harsh

well they are sorta using you...yeah, everyone likes to swim but YOU need to ask them, they dont need to invite them selves in like that. and before you got a pool did they ever do that? if they didnt then they were ur friends then right? i think you should tell them what there doing bc they might not even realize it (but more than likely they do) just ask um.

are these people you've been friends with for a while? or just since you got your pool. if you've been friends for a while, tell them you think there just using you for your pool, if you've just been friends with them since you got your pool, tell them not to come anymore

Sounds to me like they are just using you you may want to mention something about that and next time they come over say that they cant come in the pool cuz your cleaning it or something and see how long they stick around-trix

It may seem that way to you..but they probably don't even relize that they're doing it. Just invite them over to spend the nite one day and yall can swim in your pool then go out to eat or order a pizza for dinner. Then later that nite yall can talk and do fun stuff. Then they'll get to swim in your pool and you'll keep in close contact with them.
