Cutting I have a problem with conflicts, well you could say that. And whenever I feel really bad I cut..... It's hard for me to stop, because it brings out anger, I don't really know what to do, and I need help.

yeah, it feels good to cut, i know.. but there are other things you can do besides that. i dont know why myself cutting makes me feel better, but you shouldnt do that. youre the one thats going to live with the scars, the constant reminders of pain and hardship. when you finally learn to control selt mutilation, youre gonna look at yourself and the part of your body that you cut, and its gonna upset you in the long run. just find something else thatll help you take out your anger, dont punish yourself ]
What I do is I go in my room and listen to music. That always helps. Whatever makes you happy do that, like if music or talking on the phone makes you happy, do that. Don't cut yourself, try using a rubberband and snapping it whenever you feel the need to cut yourself. And if you have problems, you should go to someone you feel comfortable with and trust. Like a family member, a close friend, or a best friend. Or even one of the advice column people. I hope this helps!

Tell a friend who you trust and who you feel can help you through this. Whenever you feel the urge to cut yourself, call this friend. Stopping a long and hard process. Also, try doing other things when you get angry instead of cutting to take out your anger- go rollerblading, punch your wall, snap a CD in half. Something else which might work is if you take and ice cube and hold it on your skin until you feel the burn then it might take away the urge.

When you want to cut, try to distract yourself. Watch TV, read a book, play on the internet.
You should talk to a therapist. You need to tell your parents and they can see about finding you someone to talk to. ]
You Should really ask for help. I mean if yuo ever saw the episode from the Real World San Diego..of Frankie Cutting herself. It like broke my heart to see someone take there pain out in such a physical way. I mean I dont think anynoe should ever do that. Theres way more to life then cutting yourself over a easily done mistake. Sweetie you should like Whatch that Episode..And like probably talk to a doctor. And I think its like..You can go talk to a doctor without parents knowing. Or it could even be your guidence coucelor at school,teacher,coach,family member, Someone close that will understand! Hunny, I really think you should get help. Tell your parents or an adult you can talk to. You should get checked to see if you have depression. Cutting is a serious issue, and one of these days you'll cut to deep and you'll bleed to death. ]
I know exactly how u feel. I used 2 do that. But then I took everything in my room that reminded me of cutting or that i could cut with and put it somewhere else where I wouldn't have 2 look at it. And also, now when I get mad I just go in my room, and listen to some of my favorite songs on my stereo or I talk to one of my friends about my problems. Good Luck. ]

You should talk to someone you trust (your parents, for example,) and tell them exactly what you just told us. It's good that you know you need help. Anyone you tell that to should see that you're really being very mature about the whole thing. I hope I helped!
