Please tell me what you think: What is better, the truth that brings a tear? Or a lie that brings a smile?

hmm...

I know you asked this weeks ago, but since it's such a good question, I decided to answer it. Almost anyone would say the truth that brings a tear, but lies bring up a good case. Say you got a terrible hair cut, I'd rather people tell me it's not really that bad than say it's the worst thing they've ever seen. Really, it depends. On small matters like appearence and work (Small matters to me anyway) I'd say, but on important matters like someone's feelings I'd say the truth.

*The truth that brings a tear! Cause a lie that brings a smile could eventually turn into the truth and then bring tears* xOxO Kaela <3

I think the truth that brings the tear because at the end of it all it could bring a smile but after the lie brings a smile it will only lead to a tear if it is found out to be lie why survive on false happiness -trix

Always the truth. I know it made be hard to deal with, but being happy because of a lie will bring more taers and sadness if the person finds out the truth. So, if you tell the truth before even considereing lying..I'm sure theres gonna be tears, but hey at least you know you told the truth...that always makes me smile!=) xoxo // Lyss

I think the truth because the truth can always bring a tear to your eye if its something good. You wouldn't want to be lied to because what happens when you do find the truth out? So you mine as well tell the truth from the start...right? But that is a tough one!
