Best Friend?

Question Posted Tuesday July 6 2004, 1:59 am

After a graduated from high school two years ago, i met a girl that liked one of my friends. She started talking to me about him and trying to get them together. OVer the summer she talked to me all the time and she eventually liked me and we got really close. We almost got together but decided that we stay friends and thats where we became best friends. She called me like everyday and stuff and we hung out alot. We go to the same college and during our first year we talked but not a lot. LIke once a week or so. Then she would always give me shit on how i never call her but everytime i did she was off boning her bf that she met that year. And everytime i wanted to hang out she would blow me off for some other guys(not her bf) like frat guys. Then she kept saying that we are "best friends" but she treats me like i dont exist. What do you think?

Well i totally agree with you from what i know.. Maybe if she ever tries to make plans with you maybe you could give her a taste of her own medicine and see how she likes it but that'd be mean maybe you could write her and tell her its time that you either listen up or your gone because you are fed up with being ditched and blown off for other guys. Thats not what you want for or in a friend-trix

Talk to her and let her know how you feel! Let her know that you dont mind if she hangs out with other people but you'd like sometime for yourself as well! Also tell her that you miss her a lot and you want to be close again! maybe invite her to dinner a few days in advance... Good luck and i hope things work

Talk to her. Tell her that best friends dont treat each other like crap. Or treat her the same way that she treats you. Ignore her. If she really cares about your friendship, then she'll get the hint.

i think that you should tell her how her behavior is making you feel..but also u might just need to find someone else worth your time because obviously shes not it..friends always go their seperate ways at certain times..maybe your time has come..but believe me you wont need this girl if she has the nerve to treat you like she has been..you wont need her in your life! *hope i helped* <3/Dakota
