If that doesn't work, maybe a part-time job will help you to afford the stuff you want. Plus if you have your own money then you can buy what you want with it and your Mom won't pick you out anymore ugly clothes. Good Luck! :)
evilcutie4u27 answered Friday July 2 2004, 5:45 pm: that sucks. maybe you should tell her that some of the things she picks out, you dont like. or maybe you should just start doing chores or get a job to make some money to buy your own clothes. Berri answered Friday July 2 2004, 5:44 pm: Howday. Well, one solution to your problem is to get a job and have your own money. I dunno' what your situation is, though. You might not have the time or your mom might not want you to have a job or you might not be old enough. I think there's a better way than getting a job, though. There are PLENTY of places that have really cute clothes that aren't expensive at all. If it's brand names that you're looking for, try consignment stores if you don't mind used stuff. Or you can go to TJ Max, Marshall's, or Ross. I think they get a lot of overstock stuff from brand name places. Then there's always Rave, JC Penny's, places like that at the mall...Even places like Wal*Mart and Target can have cute stuff sometimes!!! Remember: It's the way the outfit looks that counts, not how much it cost you to buy it. [ Berri's advice column | Ask Berri A Question ]

It would help if i knew what like u would consider expensive, but id you have stores like Forever 21, Wet Seal, CHarolette Russe, or anything like those...they arent bad at all! Also try like Target for basic tanktops and stuff! Just whenever you go to random stores just look around, you might be able o find something cute! if ya want, you can tell me like what kinda clothes you like and i will thin kof stores, also tell me a price range for stuff so i kinda knnow!THANKS~! Get a job and buy your own clothes with your own money and you'll under stand why your mom doesnt want to spend excesive amount on clothes when she has to pay all the other bill's to put a roof over your head and food in the refidgerator, be thankful for what she does give you.
