hey i am wondering about like abercrombie and the expencive stores like that...why do they have to cost soo much all the cute stuff costs way too much. how can i get the money?
L0VELLE answered Saturday July 3 2004, 10:51 am: they're really expeinsive beacuse they are really on demand and once someone starts selling and clothes go off the racks they push the prices up to make more money since people seem to buy it anyway- they are really expensive and you're pretty much only paying for the brand name..you can get the same cute shirts and everything else at cheaper stores like H&M, which is very trendy, and department stores like bloomies, macy's, etc. even the limited- but if you want to make money, getting a job sounds just about right =] good luck
hope i helped..love elle [ L0VELLE's advice column | Ask L0VELLE A Question ]

They have some cool things for a big discount, but you have to be really patient. Sometimes they are practically new. [ chaos's advice column | Ask chaos A Question ]
jbdreamer answered Friday July 2 2004, 12:58 pm: Abercrombie can charge the prices they do because they know the rich little preppy kids will pay it. You should learn to barging shop. Shop only on the clearance racks. I can't remember the last time I paid full price for clothing. Styles chage so fast, it's not worth spending $50 on a shirt you are going to wear for only one season.
readmyElips answered Friday July 2 2004, 12:42 pm: you could get a job, only way i can think of. or you could do chores around the house for your parents or w/e and maybe they would give you an allowance. they have other stores that have cute clothes, but it doesn't cost half as much as abercrombie. hope i helped you out! AsK_LaNi answered Friday July 2 2004, 12:41 pm: Hey, its all about the bargain shopping. Chances are your mom or friends or someone will know when a sale is going on. Like at my favorite store Wet Seal last month there was a 50% off AND buy one get one free...it was so great! even if you're not planning to buy anything, on a boring saturday get your friends up to the mall with $20.00 in your pocket...you might find some great deals! and remember...if you see a shirt for $30 at one store and one just like it at a 'cheaper' store for like $10, don't worry about the label, its what you feel comfortable in.
and how to get the money, try babysitting, mowing lawns, selling handmade jewelery, or be a party planner...thats where you help parents plan birthday parties for young kids, decorations, games, etc. its a great way to earn $$.
hope i helped and feel free to ask me about anything in the future!

But anyway, it's your business where you shop. A good way to get money is to babysit. This week alone, I made $55 by babysitting my sister while my mom was at work. It depends on how much people pay you. I think a fair rate is $2 or $3 an hour. Also, try having a garage sale. You can get rid of your old junk and get money.
