there's a number of things that could have caused your period to be late, you're under some stress, or you just haven't gotten into a steady cycle for your period yet. don't worry just relax and talk to your mom, she'll explain everything to you. it's nothing bad

its could just be late because you are under alot of stress or you can just be abnormal if you just started it will take a while for oyu to become normal on a monthly schedule..so dont worry.

Don't worry that happens quite a lot...especially when you just started your first period a few months ago. It's normal to miss a week or two sometimes. Don't worry about it...you'll be fine. If it goes on where you miss it for a few months then I would tell somebody. But a few weeks is nothing to worry about...when I first got my period I missed a whole month...just don't worry...you're fine.

If you're not having sex, then you shouldn't worry. If you're young, it's perfectly normal for your period to come late. Hell, I'm 16 and mine's still not regulated itself. Comes between 23 and 32 days. Lol. It takes years for your period to regulate itself, unless you go on the pill, or something, which is supposed to regulate your cycle. Stress, or weight loss could also delay your period. Don't worry about it.

MotherJune answered Thursday June 10 2004, 11:55 pm:
Assuming that you are not having unprotected sex and could be pregnant, it is not unusual to have a late period. Stress or lots of physical exercise can cause you to be late, have a light cycle or even skip one. If you suspect that you may be pregnant, buy a home pregnancy test and follow the EXACT directions on the box...they are very reliable when used accurately. If you are pregnant, seek the advice of a parent or doctor immediately!

You could be pregnate, or if you are just starting (if this is your 2nd or 3rd time), then it's totally normal, your body will do this because it's not used to a cycle yet. If thats not the case, it may be because you are irregular. Try to talk to your Dr. Maybe even go on birth control if you find out you are irregular. Hope it helps.

Well honey, if you haven't had sex ( even with or without a condum, we all no that they're not 100% effective) then no need to worry . Your body may be developing even more . I know trust me . Mine's was off for a month , but it came on . you'll be fine . If you have been in intercourse, I seriously advise you to go to the doctor and they can take a quick pregnancy test . Oh, could you rate my advice . Thanks and have a nice day .
