Gabi143 answered Saturday May 22 2004, 10:30 pm: probably. It's fun and helpful. But if you are asking if a bigger trampoline would help you loose more weight....no it's the same. [ Gabi143's advice column | Ask Gabi143 A Question ]
Shai1687 answered Thursday May 20 2004, 7:02 pm: Jumping on a trampoline is exercise because your body is in motion and it's helping to circulate your blood. And if you further wish to lose weight, do what I am trying to do: Don't go on a COMPLETE diet, just change your eating habits and your actions. If the store is 15-20 minutes away...walk. Don't get in the car and waste expensive gas. Walk to the store. Good luck! [ Shai1687's advice column | Ask Shai1687 A Question ]
Cspinoza1 answered Thursday May 20 2004, 6:58 pm: Yes, actually any thing the requires can help someone lose weight. Believe it or not thats Hilary Duffs primary source of exercise. I jump on a trampoline for exercise as wel, do if for a few hours a day. But still nothing will beat running or walking. Like I work at Home Depot on top of my other jobs, and I walk over 10 miles a day 5 days a week, and I keep a healty diet. So jsut remember if it makes you sweat its working.
duzzie19 answered Thursday May 20 2004, 5:59 pm: Of course. Every single thing we as humans do helps us lose weight. (Believe it or not thius includes having sexual intercourse, chewing gum, and even just sleeping, as studies have proven. Physically, it takes certain types of physical activities to strengthen or tone or lose weight off of certain parts of your body, which I am sure you will know. Simply, you are burning calories by jumping on a trampoline, and depending on your workout (time, effort, etc.) will determine the amount you burn, thus, the amount of weight lost. (P.S.- you must burn alot of calories to lose weight). Most importantly in losing weight is a healthy diet, sleeping periods, and physical exersion everyday, so maybe minor activities such as trampoline-ing (lol) should be indulgencies, if you are trying to lose alot of weight. Paris answered Thursday May 20 2004, 6:39 am: Any exercise that raises your heart beat, such as running, aerobics or trampolining will burn off calories. But to lose weight you also need to think about what you eat because if you eat more calories than your body uses, you will obviously put on weight. So, for example if you are a woman, your body is said to use around 2000 calories daily just to keep you alive. So to lose weight, you will need to eat less than 2000 calories a day. You can be doing all the jumping on a trampoline in the world but your weight will stay the same, if you keep eating unhealthy, high calorie foods. I don't know how old you are, but unless you are seriously overweight or obese, I would not worry about losing weight. Just eat healthily (include many fruits and vegetables in your meals and avoid fast and junk food)and do moderate exercises 3 to 5 times a week. It's more important to think about your health than simply losing weight. [ Paris's advice column | Ask Paris A Question ]
