Watch a comedy while you sleep or right before. Like friends or Andy Ritcher...Try not to think about anything scary. Concentrate on what to do the next day, or something nonsensical, or funny. If there's a reason for this fear, talk to someone about it.

Maybe you can lock all ur windows and close ur drapes or something. Or, you can do what i did when i was scared. I used to sleep with my mom... just like next to her so she can take care of me. i hope i helped just a little.

you can put a night light in your room but dont tell your friend the will just laugh a you. you should make sue your windows are lock and you could nail it down but i dont know if your mother or father will let you. or you can get a oom with no windows.

Don't worry, there are a lot of people out there like you. Try using a night-light when you sleep; this makes your room less frightening since it's lighter. If you really feel you need extra protection, talk to your parents. They can reassure you that you'll be alright. If all else fails, keep a large, blunt object next to your bed every night, just in case! :)

It sounds like you might have a phobia...

Lots of people have phobias, whether it be fear of spiders, clowns, closed spaces, or being kidnapped. Most of these fears are irrational, but still, the thought of being kidnapped is obviously a horrifying thing to imagine. For right now, the only advice I can offer is that you really have to make a conscious effort not to let thoughts of being kidnapped consume your thoughts. One technique that I learned from one of my professors in university is to think about a time in your life when you were exceedingly happy, and whenever you feel a thought or anxiety attack coming on about thinking of being kidnapped, concentrate all of your energy and your mind on thinking of the time when you were happy and safe. You need to feel safe in your bed when you sleep at night, and this might just help.

If the problem persists, you really should talk to your parents about it or go and see a therapist; you can probably even find one in your school. Sometimes talking about things with a person can help to subside your fears. Therapists are also very knowledgeable in finding ways to help you with different
techniques.

I used to feel the same way when I was younger. Even though nothing had ever happened to me like that before...I would still freak out at night that someone was going to break in. I would suggest talking to your parents about it. They may have some good ideas to help you feel better. But, I kind of just had to grow out of that fear. Just remember...you are safe and there's most likely not a big chance of you getting kidnapped from your home. Good luck! Hope all goes well!!!!

First of all, the chances of being kidnapped out of your home is less than half a percent. Second of all, is this fear the result of you previosly being kidnapped? If so...you may want to consider vicim therapy. If not, then all I can tell you is to deal with it, and wait for your fear to dissipate. If it doesn't, ask for help. from a loved one~ insanity_will_dominate
