Hey sweety, I'm 13 too and I haven't started. I know how you feel though, but just realize that maturing is delicate process and every single person is different. Don't worry about it, and enjoy being a virtually carefree kid while it lasts. When you do start, embrace it and accept it as just anothing strange thing mother nature thought up for us to go through!

First of all, the chances of being kidnapped out of your home is less than half a percent. Second of all, is this fear the result of you previosly being kidnapped? If so...you may want to consider vicim therapy. If not, then all I can tell you is to deal with it, and wait for your fear to dissipate. I started babysitting when I was 12, but there is really no set age. It depends on how old the parents want you to be. As far as pay goes, ask the parents what price they think is resonable...then you can work something out that will benefit you, and won't put the adults in debt! ~insanity_will_dominate
