DruidX answered Monday March 1 2004, 5:25 pm: Most things 'kinky' reffer to interesting sexual activities or deviations from the norm, such as the Karma Sutra, or Sado-machocism [S&M]. S&M is most often reffered to as kinky as it usually involves role-playing, the binding of a patner, or the use of whips and chains.
'Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me.
So throw me down and tie me up and show me that you like me.' [ DruidX's advice column | Ask DruidX A Question ]
Moop answered Monday March 1 2004, 2:19 pm: it is anything out of the norm. NOT just in sexual content. It can be used to describe patterns in history or someone's behavior. Such as Caligula. He was a kinky guy. [ Moop's advice column | Ask Moop A Question ]
sumire answered Monday March 1 2004, 10:48 am: "Kinky" is somewhat misused and the societal definition is a little blurry. "Kinky" technically means sex practices outside the realm of normal, vanilla (non-kinky), boring missionary-position sex, or basically, sexual practices that are not societally perceived as the norm, like bondage or sadomasochism.
It's also a really fun word to say. :D [ sumire's advice column | Ask sumire A Question ]
endilwen answered Monday March 1 2004, 10:48 am: Kinky is a sexual word. When used in a sexual context it means experimenting different ways to get sexual pleasure, whether it be out of the ordinary or not. [ endilwen's advice column | Ask endilwen A Question ]
