Clarinetist answered Tuesday February 24 2004, 3:06 pm: Honestly, this has happened to me more times than I can count. I think someone is my friend, and then I find out that they talk behind my back. The truth is that if they were really your friends, they wouldn't be doing this. They youls support you, and if you didn't like this other person that much, they wouldn't be very close with her. You should make some new friends and end your ties with them. I know it's blunt, and you probably are trying to convince yourself that they truly like you, but trust me. You'll end a lot of pain later on if you just plain don't let them be your friends any more. [ Clarinetist's advice column | Ask Clarinetist A Question ]
ncheer answered Monday February 23 2004, 9:04 pm: hey! with some of my (so called) friends they do that to me too! Like today, one was making up rumors about me just to fit in with the popular crowd. I just always know i have TWO BEST FRIENDS who would never intentionally hurt me. So i always know i can fall back on them in times of hardships! So get a pair of best buddies and stay with them through thick and thin!!!!!( who won't stab you in the back!)
Whatever answered Monday February 23 2004, 12:44 pm: Reality check - THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. Friends support each other through thick or thin. They don't back stab and make fun of each other. I suggest that you find a new set of friends to hang out with...Fast!... before they cause you any further pain and trouble. [ Whatever's advice column | Ask Whatever A Question ]

miSScxoxo821 answered Monday February 23 2004, 12:39 am: Dear Friend,
I'm not sure if there is such thing as friends until the end or best friends forever. I think it might be so, but only if you have a good bond between you and your friend. But I wouldn't count on the "friends until the end" because, I once had a friend...and we've know each other since dippers. And I thought we would be "friends until the end". But then her dad got into a car accident and is now 100% disabled and just recently her mom died. And now she's into drugs and smoking and drinking, piercing her tongue, and dying her hair purple, when she use to be role modles for others and the perfect beauty. I mean, we still keep in touch, but the friendship we have is...faded. I guess what I'm trying to say is, friends change. And just when you think that nothing will keep you apart something happends. But it doesn't happen to everyone. But the friends that you have which are "backstabbers, two faced," bullies. I wouldn't necessarily call them "friends". Friends are the people that will be there for you, let you have a shoulder to cry on, call you to talk, go shopping with, make you laugh, cheer you on at something your good at, but most of all make you smile...but never make you question if they are really your true friend. I hope you can see the difference, and see what i'm trying to get through to you. But to simplify it for you...
if they make you cry
and wonder why,
then they aren't your friend,
and won't be there till the end.
Sincerely,
MiSSc [ miSScxoxo821's advice column | Ask miSScxoxo821 A Question ]
