Can anyone tell me if surfing is hard or easy or anything? I mean, it looks totally awesome! I lived in Hawaii for 5 and a half years, but that was when I was in, like, 1st grade. Well, I moved to CA in the middle of 1st grade. Please tell me if it is hard or easy. I really want to know!

EternalFolly answered Sunday January 25 2004, 3:24 pm: That depends on your natural talent and sense of balance. I found it very easy while my brother can hardly stand. All you can do is try it for yourself and see how it goes. It IS a load of fun though and I think you'll love it. [ EternalFolly's advice column | Ask EternalFolly A Question ]
Cspinoza1 answered Sunday January 25 2004, 1:53 pm: Its fairly easy you can learn to stand and hold balance really fast in like a few hours, but becoming good is just like everything else it take practice. Its a lot easier than a lot of other sports. But just remember every sport takes time.
shay*shay answered Sunday January 25 2004, 11:12 am: It depends. If you want to surf like the duys on TV, thats hard, but if you're just going to be out there for fun I would say you could learn in about a month or so if you practiced everyday. I live in cali too!
