I love GC, they are my favorite band. I like Simple PLan too but im not really that interested in Bowling for soup. you should check out The All American Rejects and Sugarcult you might like them.

My opinion on Good Charlotte- They mutate the already bad pop in to sounding "punk" even though it really isnt. When they sing about tragedies or really depressing things, they sound preppy, which equals to bad and unfitting music. The singers voice is annoying.
My opinion on Simple Plan- What is with the song 'Perfect'. The subject has been beaten up by so many singers, it's really old. The singers voice is annoying.
Bowling For Soup- generally they suck but i liked one of their songs, i don't remember which.

all of those bands have sold out, which is pretty uncool. I enjoy the song "Punk Rock 101." However, as one of my friends once said, "Bowling for Soup should be called Bowling for commercial Endorsements." But eh. I'm probably not someone who should be answering this question, I like most alternative rock music. Even though mainstream punk sucks..(which is what they are...) To quote Ryo, "c'mon, it's mainstream punk. To me, that's an oxymoron."

I'm definately a fan of simple plan. I've been recommmending people get the CD a long time. I still don't know why more singles haven't emerged from it.
Bowling for Soup and Good Charlotte fall along the same lines, yes, but the music sounds like it's trying to appeal to everyone, and doesn't have any real depth or originality.
But... good choices.
