i am inlove, inlove, with boys like girls. but then, all of a sudden, it got on this really popular radio station that EVERYBODY listens too, and they keep playing it, and now like everyone i know is like, "omg i just love them!" and im like you dont even know anything about themmmm. you only know like those two songs. and uhh, there like well, so. and its just EXTREMELY annoying. i dno, im just one of those people who like to be the only one who knows a certain type of music, so then no one can say they like it. because they dont. and its just annoying all the way around.
does anyone ever feel this way?? (link)

This isn't really an advice question, but this seems to happen with almost EVERY band I love, and it's supersuper annoying.
I LOVED hellogoodbye for years. Then they got on MTV. And then everyone else started liking them.
And OK Go? Yeah. They were my second favorite band... until people starting liking them JUST for that one music video. Gahh. And that's not even their best song!
My #1 favorite band, lostprophets... at least THEY haven't gotten out of control yet. ugh
But I feel your pain. You're definitely not the only one who feels this way. Keep finding music, and loving it for what it is, and not because other people like them.

on www.zappos.com there are a few sections devoted to flats... and they probably have more variety than a regular store! also, if you order the shoes from zappos, and you don't like them, OR they don't fit... you can mail them back in for free :)

whoever has a macintosh G5 or G4, under system preferences the screensavers for apple consist of a slideshow of beach pictures, i was wondering if any of you knew a site where they got those pictures from or if they have a site of those type of pictures

You probably cannot get the EXACT same pictures...
but if you go http://www.sxc.hu/ , and sign up and make a free account, there are a TON of photos that are free for your own use.

alllrrigghtt in photobucket.. when you upload a picture and it gives you the three little things you can use to share your pictures. the one that says "TAG:" does anyone know how to make that smaller, like a website to do that or something would be a LIFESAVER. thanks so much if anyone can help! :) (link)

you can go to http://www.tinypic.com, and upload your picture there... it makes the URL a LOT shorter! It's very fast and easy to do too, and you don't have to register, either.

I was just kind of curious. One of my friends told me that her mom said we should put ICE next to any numbers in my phone that I would want someone to call if anything happened to me. ICE standing for In Case of Emergancy. Well my question is, do cops, firefighters, and paramedics know about that? Like will they actually look through your phone for the ICE numbers, or is that just something that her mom wanted us to do? Have any of you ever heard of doing that? Because I have ICE next to my parents, siblings, and a few of my closest friends. I also always have ID on me, not that that really matters.
But I was really just wondering, do other people do the "ICE" thing, or is it just a waste of time?

My friend's dad is actually an EMT (one of the guys in the ambulance). He said that they hardly ever look for ICE numbers.

You need to download a more advanged graphics program, such as paint shop pro. However, if you don't want to download anything, I will gladly make your photo blackand white if you email it to me... splitzy@gmail.com =)

Hey I was wondering if anyone could recommend some glossy, chocolatey brown semi- permanent hair colours that condition your hair aswell as colour it. Price doesn't matter but the cheaper the better.

Color pulse is a good dye, but NOT what you are looking for... there are no chocolatey brown shades
I would use L'oreal Moisture Spa Actif (or something like that... it's in a blue box). It lasts for 24 washes and has many shades that I think you would like. I have used this to dye my hair Auburn (I am naturally dark dark dark dark brown), and it came out nice. My friend used it to dye her hair chocolatey brown, and it came out good.
This dye comes with really really REALLY good conditioner... and I mean REALLY good. After you dye your hair and you've washed it out, they tell you to leave some conditioner on your hair... it makes your hair SUPER soft and SUPER shiney! It's fasntastic.
And the dye is pretty cheap too =)

It usually means that if you renew your 2 year plan, you get MAJOR discounts on phones... =)
And it could be in June, it might not though... call cingular and ask them when your plan expires

Well, you can download free fonts from many sites (my favorite is http://dafont.com), but your friends that you are talking to on aim can only see the font if they also have it installed on their computer.

I'm just beginning to learn how to play the violin. It's been a dream of mine since I was little so I'm really excited and practicing quite a bit. The trouble is my left wrist gets really sore really fast and I can't practice for very long at once. Is there anything I can do about this? My teacher tells me I am holding the violin right but I want to be able to practice for more then like 10 minutes before my arm gets tired. Do I just need to wait for my arm to get stronger or are there any stretches or such I can do? (link)

I've been playing violin for... lets see... 7 years now? I used to have that problem, and at times I still do. Just wait for your arm to get stronger- teh pain should go away over time.

YES! You can make an email account on google, it is called G-mail, and you can get it at www.gmail.com. However, the only way you can get it is if someone invites you... I happen to have 99 invites, so if you want one, send me feedback with your current email address, and I'll send one to you. I love G-mail, it is the BEST email program I have ever used!

Yeah, I also made ice cream with two plastic bags. I did this recipe in 6th grade (over 5 years ago...), and it turned out great! (and believe me, if a 6th grader could do it, anyone can).
So... plastic bags=easy, cheap, and they should be around your house!
