math... factoring

ok i was gone from school two days this week, and im a little confused on my math homework. this is the problem im working on 4x^2+8x-21=0 ((^2=squared)).. my question is should i add 21 to both sides or just start factoring. i tried to just factor, and i could never get the signs to be write for everything. thanks

I still dont have a 8th grade graduation dress and I dont know any good stores to go to I live in WI in the Milwaukee area and I dont know where to go!! does anyone have any good suggestions!??! HELP PLEASE!! I rate high! thx~

okay. me and one of my Ex's broke up 7 months ago! And now,, one of my friends asked him if he still likes me, and he said "well....it was b'cuz of baseball...." (that he broke up w/ me)And never really answered her question.
Since then, hes been staring at me in the halls. And flirting w/ me. Just not talking to me.
Do he still have feeling for me or what?

I'm extremely shy, and I've never had a boyfriend, or a kiss. I want a boyfriend.. should I continue to be shy, do guys think it's cute? Or should I push myself to be more outgoing.. but idk how? I try to be myself, but I get so insecure, I always think people are judging me. I've had a few boys ask me out and everything.. but they were all losers, not to be mean or anything. So it's not like i've never had a chance of having a boyfriend. How do I get a decent guy to notice me?

best and quickest way to tan?

I want to get really really tan.. preferably by tomorrow but I doubt that's going to happen (although I am already a little tan).. so I lay outside on my back porch and tan, but it gets soooo hot out there, and I can only stand it for like 10 minutes, and then I have to come inside. So basically, Im not getting very tan that way. What are some ways to tan FAST, like does olive oil really work?? And no, Im not going to go to a tanning bed. And no spray on tans either. Thanks!

Is This Normal?

Im 14/Female and i havnt had my period yet. But i discharge...its heavy (been heavy) since maybe october. Not all the time though. Is it normal for it to be yellowish white? Because i will be in school sometimes and i will discharge and i will always look down to see if i had my period and i dont but its scary. When i do get my period and if im in school will it just come out when it wants to (like people could see it) that would be embarresing! Please Help Ladies! i rate high and give feedback!!!! okay.. i was talking to my friend yesterday and she told me she thinks she might be pregnant.. At first i thought she was kidding but she was being serious. She said she doesn't want to tell anybody and would be too scared to get a pregnancy test or anything. She thinks she should be on birth control too. She's only 14! what can i do?.. Oh her boyfriend doesnt know she might be pregnant either :/
