Wowitzbrit answered Sunday April 10 2005, 1:34 pm: the keys should pop out. Take a knife or sometihng and pop them out, then clean it out with q tips, it should work but if not you can take it to a computer place and they can fix it.
Kels answered Sunday April 10 2005, 1:02 pm: okay, well, try to get a DRY paper towel! and wipe as much up as possible. also, try to use one of those mini vacumes to get the other stuff out, i did that one time. also, a bobbie pin, use that to slide in between the keys to get out the access soup! this has happened to be before! and this worked for me!!
Asc answered Sunday April 10 2005, 12:44 pm: As a suppliment to mrs radcliffe's advice, note that most (all that I've ever seen, anyway) keyboards have detachable keys which can be easily be pried off with a pen or screwdriver and reattached with no harm done. Removing the affected keys for cleaning may help.
Worst case scenario it'll need keyboard replacement, which will take shop time but most laptop components are modular so it shouldn't be a major issue. For a temporary fix, you can probably plug a keyboard from a different computer into the laptop's ps/2 or usb port. [ Asc's advice column | Ask Asc A Question ]

And get a cloth and wipe in between the keys untill all the soup is out, Get an old toothbrush and clean between the keys. the plug the pc back in and see if it works, If it doesnt you'll have to tell your dad it should work.
