Growing up Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 3:04 pm
Im 17. My mom keeps pushing me to get a job. I want a job, because I want to get a car. But I realise that once I get a car, Ill have to pay for insurance and gas, so basically once I start working, I wont stop until Im like 60. That makes me sad because Im not ready to grow up yet. In one year Ill be an adult and Im just not ready for bills, work, college, and other big responsibilities.
Any suggestions? =[

Subliminal messages in Kingdom Hearts? Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 12:01 pm
ok, well i was thinking there might be subliminal messages in kingdom hearts just because it was based on disney, and they helped in the creatiion, so you know the theme song to kingdom hearts 2? well i dont got the game but i got kingdom hearts 1 and well, i downloaded "passion" from utada hikaru, the singer of the theme song for kingdom hearts 1 and 2. i can not stop listening to it. try to find some place you can listen to it cause it does sound like a subliminal message during backmasking, but i think they r just trying to add effect. but i can not stop listening to this song!i was even listening to a green day song so i wont have to listen to "passion" but i stopped the green day song to listen to "passion"...

Outdoor activities Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 11:14 am
In England our summer holiday has only just started and my friends and I need ideas as to what we can do. None of us have much money and we're all bored of picnics and barbeques so we need cheap, preferably outdoor activities that we can all do together.

My girlfriend's birthday is comming up. I'd like to get her a book that she would like, she reads a lot. She likes to read novels, the mushy love story kind. Does anyone recommend any that they have actually read? I'm not too great when it comes to this. Or should I just ask her which one she would like? I did want it to be a surprise, but if that's the best way to go about it, I'll try it.

so stressed. Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 1:32 am
Hey Advicenators.
Life has gotten really hard for me over the past month or so. I met a wonderful guy, and I hung out with him a few times and we're crazy about each other, unfortunetly my parents won't let me see him anymore. They forbid it, and it's awful. I can talk to him on the phone. He's like the one person I can easily tell anything & it's just sad because I feel so close to him, yet; I'm not close to him in the slightest.
Also, I really wanted to go back to my hometown, I live like 30 hours away from where I used to live, and I wanted so much to go back & visit, this summer - it would've been exactly a year since I moved away. I built my hopes up ever since January 2006 thinking I'd be going ho...

Trying to Convert Basement into Bar Posted Tuesday July 25 2006, 9:56 pm
Hi, I'm Patricia, and I'm 22 years old. My friends are in the 22-28 year old range.
I have an empty double garage under my apartment. My friends and I have no where really to hang out. So, we baught a pool table, a dartboard and a small bar so we could solve our problem. I wanted the "bar/billiard room" to sort of have a beach feel to it so I strung up some old x-mas lights across the ceiling and I baught a bunch of mirrors and beach posters for the walls. I want to get some neon signs and beer/liquor posters, lights, clocks, whatever, but I can't find any that aren't extremely expensive. Maybe thats just the way it is, but I thought surely someone on here had done this before and might have some tips on where I could get c...
