Lights and insulation???

Question Posted Tuesday July 25 2006, 10:05 pm

Is it a bad idea to string Christmas lights under insulation? I want to have a party in my garage and string up lights- only it doesn't have a finished ceiling. Could it be a fire hazard?

You should try party lights instead of Christmas lights.

if you have like a wood foundation then hang them from there, not directly under the insulation. <3

if the insulation is material, yes. yes it can be a fire hazard, if you could string then around areas to where its out the way of anything then you have yourself lights that are good to go.
