guitar picks?

i'm learning to play guitar, i'm actually somewhat good by now. but for some reason, i can never seem to get a good grip or hold on to the pick, like it slips out of my fingers. i hold it right, i'm positive.
any tips on what i could do about it?

If you were watching ABC last week you probably saw the commercial for the 1/11 episode of Men in Trees. The song on the commericial went like this:

I really don't think that I heard the lyrics wrong, but I haven't been able to find the song. Please help!

okay there is this guy i like and i'm kind of freinds with him.....i guess let see what you think. okay well i have talked to him alot on aol instant messageing but he won't ever talk to me at school and he asked me if i like him on aim and i said yes and all he does it stare at me and all of his friends talk about me and him and his freinds stare at me at lunch but always try to play it off.....i don't get it why doesn't he tlak to me at school and why does he stare at me all the time?

okay so theres this kid named Joe. Joe and i used to be in the 9th period class in 7th grade. and i liked him in 7th grade. but he was pretty much a jerk and only once in a while he would be nice-like rarely. but now were in the same 5th period class. and he like trys to talk to me (he sits next to me) and if the teacher is like who wants to read their entry, he'll always be like i volenter jessica (me) and stuff like that. and i'll catch him looking at me sometimes. i dont know. i know i look atleast somewhat diffrent from the last day of 7th grade, but i dont know maybe he likes me. i mean i know it sounds like im over reacting or w.e. like..the things he does doesnt mean he likes me, but i guess who have to be there. maybe hes like intrested? idk tell me what you think. help =]

i have asked plenty of guys out in the past, but they all turned me down. i'm surely not ugly. i'm skinny (average skinny) and i look pretty anyway without make-up. and i have really pretty hair too. and i have a lot of friends and a lot of people have told me i have a great personality.
the thing is, i'm tired of being turned down. i want a guy (that i like) ask me out. and i'm actually not very picky about the guys i like. don't get me wrong, guys notice me when i pass them, i just don't know why they're so afaid to ask me out.
what do you think i'm doing wrong? and/or should i just be patient a little bit longer?
and what are some tips i might need to get a guy?

alright theres a important, really important reason behind this but i just dont feel like explaining it all. i just need some tips to become popular. like you know popular. (i would mostly want it from people who are popular in school) but it doesnt matter. i just need tips to become popular QUICKLY in a pretty big sized township and the people here are kinda picky and w.e. but any tips will be fine with me. i really need you guys to answer this.

well to start, i've had this best friend since 2nd grade or so and we would always talk to each other everyday and go everywhere with each other. since i'm now in high school, i never get to see her anymore because she's still in middle school (she's only a year younger). the part of this that kills me is that she lives four houses down from me and we don't even see a glimpse of each other. she never evens calls me either. we're too busy with homework and what not.
and believe it or not, when we do see each other every once in a while, it feels awkward to be around her. we just don't know what to say to each other anymore.
because i've been away from her for so long, my life just seems so empty. and i can't tru...

Okay I know that this has been asked before but here it goes... my best friend has a boyfriend who she's been going out with for almost two years and I'm really happy for her because she's a great person and all and so is he, and they're really happy together. But the thing is, I feel like she puts him ahead of my other friends and me. For example, I had a theatre show that I performed in and she knew how important it was to me, but at the very last minute, she called me and told me she couldn't go because she was hanging out with her boyfriend. I got really mad and sometimes, when I think about how all of my other friends came and my best friend didn't, I still get mad. Well, I like two guys. Both of them like me back. I like one [andy] more than the other [sid]. Well, Andy is 17 [yeah yeah i know] and Sid is in my grade. ok so i wear my hair straight & the same way everyday. it gets pretty old. i started braided my hair at night (2 french braids) and then i take it out in the morning and it looks all crimpty <sp?>. my friends LOVE it and think its really cute, and even my sister does (for a change). but now i ear my hair crimpt at least once a week, sometimes twice. is that to much? do u think crimpt hair looks trashy. i wear hollister and abercrombie and with crimpt hair... i don't wont to look cheap. thanks ;)
