Threatening Suicide on the Train Tracks

I'm an 18 year old female, living on the East Coast. My friend Jake is 22, living in Oregon. He is suicidal. Is there anything I can do to help?
I've known him for about 4 years. He has been suicidal since he was 10, apparently - that's 12 whole years of "depression". He just came back from the Jop Corps last week for his summer vacation, so yesterday was my first time speaking to him in 10 months. ALLL he would talk about is getting his hands on some tough drugs and then going to the "train tracks", if you know what I mean.
How do I help him? His complaints are pretty much the usual stuff. His family hates him, no one loves him, he doesn't have a girlfriend and now that he is 22 he ...

Ohk i know you can get Aids Or Hiv from someone if you have sex with someone that has it. I was told by many people that even if you use a condom you can also get it. Is it true.?
Only asking because i was watching tv today and on one of the Trojan Condom commercials. Its says to be sure not to get Aids Or HIv. Always use a condom.
No im not out having sex. And im 17 female.

sorry i didnt know what categorie to but it under

HEY GOTTA QUESTION ABOUT CONDOMS.
now me and my bf were about to do stuf the other day and he told me he couldnt because he got the wrong condoms. and i fuess he said *sensitive* condoms were made to feel more but he said they BREAK easier. soo is this true? just wondering becuz i think its a good idea u kno for all those who do purchase the *sensitive, ultra sensitive..etc.*

okay so ive been on my period for 4 days i think and i went to the bathroom this morning and there was a LITTLE bit of brown blood barely any blood. so i was like YAY my period stopped. so i went swimming since i didnt the past 4 days and when i got back in from swimming for like 3 hours i went pee and i was bleed really bad. ahh help please
